Kudos!

The class photos that you see in the album on this page came about from a series of photos scanned and submitted a while back by Candidate Michael Schelpat.

His own digitized copies, which he created when he sent them to the Association, have gone AWOL. So, as Michael said, he is especially happy to see them "archived" in the Class 09-67 files.

For those of you who care about details (and who doesn't???) the pictures in the album were all taken with a Fujica "Half Frame" 35mm camera, i.e. 2 pictures in one 35mm frame, where the width of each frame was the height of a 35mm frame. Many of the prints were also half the size of a normal 35mm print, hence the low resolution when scanned. The camera fit in Mike's ammo pouch, so he carried it everywhere he went (lucky for us...). And to think that we thought that all he had in that ammo pouch was pogey bait...

Mike's photos are the ones tagged "67 09 OCS Class" (0) through (150). He is featured in numbers: 16, 41, 42, 43, 44, 103, 120, 125, 127, 139, 140, 141, 143 (he think's) and 150. The official, sanctioned class photographer was by Frank Scobbe, shown in photo #148.

Note: All pictures in the accompanying album are copyright Michael Schelpat. No use may be made of them without prior, written permission. If you wish to reproduce any of these pictures, please contact us, and we will put you in touch with Candidate Schelpat.

Thank you.
