Candidate Bruce Miller, Class 11-66

-  Brief Update, As Of May 2010  -

Submitted 18 May 2010: I am currently in San Diego, serving as a Communications Officer on board the USNS Charles Drew T AKE 10, which is under construction in the NASSCO Shipyard. Completion date and acceptance of the ship is scheduled for 14 July 2010, with sea trials to follow. Previous assignments have been on the USNS Kiska (ammo ship), USNS Niagara Falls (combat stores), and the USNS Guadalupe, Fleet oiler. My service has included several tours in the North Arabian Gulf as part of Operation Enduring Freedom and participation in a number of Naval Tactical exercises including RIMPAC09 and Talisman Saber.
